gforth - GNU Forth for Android

Gforth is the Android distribution of GNU Forth, an implementation of the Forth programming language. It is available for ARM and x86 processors and can be downloaded for free from the developer's website. Gforth is fully compliant with the ANSI/200x Forth standard and aims to become a widely accepted and used model for ANSI Forth.

One of the main goals of the Gforth Project is to provide a powerful and efficient Forth implementation that is similar to previous models like fig-Forth and F83. It should also be easy to use, available on multiple machines, and easy to port. The Gforth APK comes with three icons: Gforth fast, which is the fast engine; Gforth ITC, which includes a single-step debugger and precise backtrace even on exceptions; and a demo app for the net2o protocol with the "Nettie" octopus.

For the best programming experience with Gforth, it is recommended to use a soft keyboard designed for programming, such as Hacker's Keyboard. Gforth is licensed under the GPLv3 and is developed by Bernd Paysan, Anton Ertl, Jens Wilke, Neal Crook, David Kühling, and others.
